Chateau Ponte Canet

Until 1975 it was owned by the well-known Clews, but a court case revealed that the company had neglected its blending and labeling practices, forcing the company to sell the chateau. It was bought by a prominent cognac merchant, Guy Theslon, who entrusted its management to his son Alfred. Alfred Teslon has a passion for wine making and is now one of the leading growing stocks in the Medoc. A huge investment in the vineyards and cellars and a very strict selection process have resulted in Pontet-Canet being a very fine wine today.
