Located in the village of Saint-Julien, what was originally a single chateau was split into Lascars, Poyferre and Barton, with Lascars being said to be the most delicate of the three. The owned field is adjacent to that Chateau Latour across a single stream, and its quality is highly valued as it is said to be the "King of San Julian". This chateau is so popular that it is currently rated 2nd grade in the Medoc, but it should be upgraded to 1st grade.
