Chateau Au Burge Liberal

The vineyards of Château aux Burges Liberal are in a wonderful location next to Latour and Pichon-Lalande. The liberal family that created the domaine in the 18th century then annexed the best Pauillac terroirs over several generations. Since 1983 it has been owned by the Villars family. The current owner, Claire Villars-Lurton, has completely renovated the cellar and practices environmentally friendly cultivation methods to complement the terroir.

2023年、メドック地方の天候は順調で、規則的かつ途切れることのない植物の成長を促しました。春の天候条件と適度な降雨は有益であり、収穫までの良好な生産ポテンシャルを確保しました。暑く乾燥した夏にもかかわらず、8月末の特に暖かい気候のおかげで熟成度合いは興味深いレベルに達しました。9月の降雨は収穫の終わりにかけてカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンに潤いをもたらし、再び新鮮さを取り戻しました。
