Chateau Citran

This chateau has been owned by the Denissant de Citran family since the 11th century, but in 1832 the Boyer Closel family bought the chateau and devoted themselves to improving the quality of their wines. In 1987, Todaka House, a Japanese company, acquired the company, and in 10 years, the quality has skyrocketed. Today, under the ownership of the Merlot family, the cellar has been rebuilt and the selection process has been stricter to consistently produce high quality wines.
