Chateau Mouton Rothschild

Owned by the Rothschild family since 1853. In 1924, by changing the conventional practice and performing all the processes from bottling to storage in the chateau, it was possible for the chateau owner to completely control the quality of the wine. In 1973, it was promoted from 2nd class to 1st class, the only one in the history of the Medoc rating. In terms of label art, it is well known that a famous painter decorates the bottle for each vintage. In 2014, Baronne Philippine Rothschild, who was instrumental in the expansion of the Château, passed away, but her three sons and daughters carry on the will.
