Chateau Lascombe

The chateau name comes from its first owner, Chevalier (knight) Lascombe, born in 1625. The superhuman effort of Acresis Lichine, who owned it from 1951 to 1971, resulted in a very good wine of high quality. After being owned by a major British beer company, in 2001, under the direction of Dominique Befou, the cellar and vineyards were completely renovated to continue producing wines worthy of appellation and chateau status.
