The name Lafon comes from the Lafon family who owned the chateau until 1888. Rocher means rock in French and is a word that describes the soil of this land. The current owner Teslon family embarked on a plan to significantly restore the vineyard and the ruined chateau. Today, thanks to the efforts made in the 1990s, we are producing high quality wines.

シャトー・ラフォン・ロシェは17世紀以来、家族経営で続けられています。
シャトーの周りには45ヘクタールのブドウ畑が広がっており、一つのまとまりとして管理されています。
シャトー・ラフォン・ロシェは1855年に格付けされたグラン・クリュ・クラッセです。
畑は砂利と青粘土が混じり合う複雑なテロワールを持っています。
シャトーの壁とラベルには2000年から黄金色が使用されています。
2019年から始まったアグロエコロジーのプログラムに取り組んでいます。
2022年からロレンツェッティ家の所有
2022年以降、ロレンツェッティ家が所有しています。
2022年はクリストフ・コンジェが全工程を監督し、エリック・ボワソノが唯一のコンサルタントを務めた初のヴィンテージです。
