One of the most historic chateaus in the Medoc district, whose origin can be traced back to the 12th century. In 1855, it was classified as a 4th class. It was in a dilapidated state until Louis Lipschitz renovated the chateau in 1962, but he was reborn to the quality suitable for the chateau. Mr. Bernard Magret, who also owns Pape Clément, is now the owner and strives to improve quality.
